Community Engagement

In 2025, the Indianapolis Chapter made a commitment to formalize its outreach and work within the greater Indianapolis community.  The goals for the newly-created committee were established as follows:

• Broaden chapter volunteer opportunities through partnerships
• Enhance engagement in FM Programs at collegiate or high school levels
• Solidify collaboration with other local associations’ chapters
• Strengthen our advocacy for the FM Industry

The Committee is planning volunteer events for 2026, including one on March 10 at Teachers' Treasures.  Information on events can be found on the home page of our website.

All IFMA Indianapolis Chapter Members are welcome to share information about organizations with which they might be involved, and all volunteer opportunities will be considered by the committee.  As a facility management organization, we strive to engage with opportunities that relate to the FM field in some way.  Reach out to us at [email protected] if you have a volunteer opportunity we might be able to help with!
