Come see firsthand how Ray's is helping customers avoid waste disposal at its state-of-the-art Indianapolis recycling facility. Due to parking restrictions at Ray's, we'll meet at nearby Bullseye Event Center for an IFMA Indy greeting and box lunch, and then shuttle to the recycling center. All shuttles will return to the event center by 1:00 p.m.
Since opening in 2015, Ray’s Indianapolis Recycling (RIR) has made it their mission to make recycling a more achievable goal. The unique arrangement of processing equipment from multiple vendors allows mixed recyclables to be collected from various generators. From residential units to sites seeking LEED certification, customers can mix materials and let the material recycling facility do the work.
This tour promises to be a fascinating one whether you're responsible for the trash disposal and recycling efforts for your faciity, or you're simply part of the consumer stream.
We're also coordinating an IFMA Indy Gives Back opportunity at this event! We've partnered with HVAF, Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation, to collect items on their Greatest Needs List. Robert White, HVAF Director of Community Engagement, will be on hand to tell us about this incredible organization helping Indiana veterans and their families. See the list and more information here, and be sure to bring your item for donation with you March 10!
